Twelve bodies are discovered hanging from the ceiling of a warehouse belonging to notorious crime boss Vladimir Markovic. Investigating the scene, a team of FBI special agents, as well as several police officers, barely escape with their lives thanks to the help of a mysterious man named Adam. This is only the beginning.
Immerse yourself in this spine-chilling, fearful fight for justice, as a group of immortals endeavour to correct humanity’s current trajectory in a world that has lost all sense of compassion.
Review by Linda
A mysterious man named Adam suffers severe life-threatening injuries after a horrific Killing of twelve people in a warehouse in New York, which he survives and heals rapidly and astounds the FBI officers, whom he had helped at the warehouse, this leads to an extraordinary story of unexplained supernatural events and brutal killings!
Adam-Fear is a book that contained so much intrigue and happenings beyond my mind. It also contained plenty of blood and gore, all of which I loved.
Krysta Rose-Anderson is a Special Agent with the FBI. She is an amazing character. She is hard-working and is determined to get to the bottom of this horrendous crime, which has plenty of supernatural elements to it. Adam, the mystery man with extraordinary powers, is a quiet, unassuming man. I enjoyed getting to know both of these characters.
The plot had me gripped to the pages. It was fun never knowing what was coming next, which made for a brilliant page-turner.
There was a lot of tension throughout and some parts were quite detailed, so-much-so that on a few occasions I had to re-read the page to take all the details in. It is also thought-provoking. I adored the last chapters as it all came together and I was able to put everything into place.
I really enjoyed this novel. I Loved the contrast of darkness and light, good versus evil! But also the romance and all the different twists and turns that occurred. I shall be recommending this book to everyone. I now look forward to the sequel.
