Synopsis
Meet Palmer. Charlie Palmer. Awesome spy and fluffy llama. Her top-secret mission? To save the world and rescue a pair of . . . UNDERPANTS! A hilarious and super stylish adventure – James Bond for little ones!
Review by Stacey
Llama Charlie Palmer is a secret agent, a spy. She is used to being sneaky, combat, and travelling the world. Her new mission is in from HQ, they need her to find out who has stolen the Prime Minister’s underpants and return them to him.
Agent Llama is a fun, exciting, adventurous picture book that I can see children adoring and having a good giggle at what Charlie Palmer the Llama gets up to on her missions, plus having to locate some banana-covered underpants.
The text throughout rhymes and the illustrations are comic book style with their moody colours. The images tell the story perfectly and the expressions of the characters emphasise how they are feeling. They are full-page too, with the writing either between or within them.
For children who crave excitement, this book is perfect. Any book that will have children laughing and enjoying themselves is a winner in my eyes.
This looks and sounds like a really cute read.
