When her boss, Capricorn Hayes, finally assigns Jinx a missing persons case involving a congressman’s missing granddaughter, Jinx jumps at the chance. Not only to solve it, but to earn the fifty-thousand-dollar bonus that would pay her bills, and get a menacing creditor off her back.
But the investigation proves more dangerous and costly than Jinx believes. After an unknown individual in a black Corvette nearly runs Jinx down and begins stalking her, Jinx has to sacrifice her relationship with her daughter by sending Arielle to live with her father. Can Jinx find the congressman’s daughter while surviving her stalker? Or will this job be her last?

Congressman Calloway: Up for re-election, the congressman cannot afford a family scandal. Did he hire Jinx to find Elena to coverup the young teen’s possible murder? If so, has he decided to eliminate Jinx to clean up the family mess?
Review by George
Valerie “Jinx” Curry is a single mom with a rebellious teenage daughter and money problems. She is also a private investigator intent on landing assignments other than snapping photos of cheating wives and husbands. Her boss finally relents and gives her the case of Congressman Calloway’s missing granddaughter, Elena.
Jinx soon learns that this is no ordinary case of a missing person. All indications are that Elena disappeared voluntarily and went to great lengths to avoid being found. The more Jinx digs into the case, the more unsavory secrets she uncovers about the Calloway family. Then the bullets start flying.
All Money Ain’t Good Money is a mystery/thriller with strange twists, violence, and sex. It kept me (figuratively) on the edge of my seat as I read. Some characters the reader meets are sympathetic, while others are threatening and downright scary. Jinx must figure out which is which, all the while dealing with a personal financial crisis and a teenage daughter who says she hates her. As if that were not enough, her boss keeps threatening to take the case away from her, something Jinx cannot and will not abide.
Jinx Curry is one gutsy woman, and if you like that kind of heroine, you’ll love this book.
