Another Studio
Another Studio was founded in 2009. It is a plant-loving, conscientious, design company based in London.
In 2010, they launched their first collection of products. Over the years they’ve forayed into stationery, novelty gifts, architectural model kits, and even signature homeware pieces. They are now run by a team of four, plus Stanley the Dachshund, the chief entertainer.
Some of their products are so unique I’d never seen anything like them before, including plant animals of which there are 44 different animals to choose from, £6.50 each. Or take a look at their tiny bouquets which come in copper or brass and a choice of three bouquets.

Freya Louise has written her first cookery book, ‘I love you to the Fridge & Back: Recipes to Unlock an Energised Life‘.
Freya has spent her whole life battling health traumas, including extreme eczema, keratoconjunctivitis (agonising eye disease), and a series of life-threatening allergies. By listening to her body, researching and obsessing about the rights and wrongs, and a journey of trial and error, she restored her health through natural wholesome foods and a change of lifestyle and mindset.

The hotel opened in 1982 and is still run by the same family. It boasts 30 bedrooms, including suites. The restaurant offers exceptional dining, with produce sourced from its own kitchen gardens and local suppliers, as well as having its own onsite bakery providing freshly baked bread, biscuits, cakes, desserts, and preserves. Their festive menu featuring items such as Mushroom and Shallot Tart Tatin topped with goat’s cheese and a herb dressing and Braised Shin of Beef in stout and black treacle served with a celeriac puree will be served from 1st December.
The hotel holds many events throughout the year. Their upcoming events include Festive Decoupage Decoration Workshop on 24th November between 10am-3pm, a Christmas Brass Band Concert on 2nd December between 12-4pm, and Carols and Fish & Chips Tea on 23rd December between 6-9pm, plus, many more. Trentham Monkey Forest
Trentham Monkey Forest is based in Staffordshire and is home to 140 free-ranging Barbary macaques. Visitors get to walk along the 3/4 of a mile pathway whilst the monkeys roam freely.
Guests get to spend a few hours within the monkey enclosure and are free to re-enter as many times as they wish during their trip. The monkeys are fed hourly and so visitors get to watch them feeding. Knowledgeable guides are situated throughout the forest to help answer any questions and to ensure the park rules are followed. There is also a shop, a restaurant, and a primate-themed play area to visit.
Monkey Forest opens at 10am daily and closing time depends on the time of year. They also shut for the winter months, reopening in February, though you can take part in their Exclusive Private Tour: Winter Walk With Monkeys! whilst they are closed. They have an amazing experience available next year to book on Breakfast with the Monkeys (which sold out fast for this year’s slots).
