Synopsis
One day Ebb and Flo find a bird sitting in their boat – in Ebb’s favourite spot! Flo invites the bird to join them, but Ebb isn’t so sure and wishes the bird would just fly away. But what happens when Ebb’s wish comes true?
A seaside story of friendship with Ebb and Flo.
Review by Stacey
When my children were little they adored the ‘Daisy’ books from Jane Simmons and would ask for them over and over, so when I was asked if I would like to review this book by the same author I jumped at the chance.
The book reads like a classic, with its soft words and lovely story surrounded by hazy, colourful illustrations. I loved the plot in which a bird arrives and annoys Ebb but once it has flown away he misses her so much that he is even off his food.
The story is short and sweet and I recommend it as a bedtime story to share with your little ones.
