Review by Stacey
With the rabbits in their new burrow Fletcher wonders how Father Christmas will find them to deliver their presents. He soon has an idea to put arrows on the floor made of sticks that will show Father Christmas where to go. With the help of other woodland creatures, the arrows are all in place. But what’s this! Snow is now coming down. What will happen to the arrows and will the bunnies get their presents?
Fletcher is an adorable little fox who is so loving and caring. He is always trying to be helpful and so when he realises that Father Christmas might not be able to find the rabbits burrow he decides to take action.
I love how the animals all came together to help and the lovely festive burrow that the rabbits have made, complete with a Christmas tree. The illustrations are so adorable. They are full-page and bring the story to life with their watercolours.
Fletcher and the Snowflake Christmas is a gentle, loveable story that makes your heart warm. It is beautifully written and shows children about being helpful and making caring friendships. I loved everything about this book and it would make a fabulous Christmassy bedtime story for your little ones.
