On the 28th January 2015 at United Biscuits (UK) Company, which is located in West Berkshire, a new world record was set.

One-hundred-and-fifty of the biscuit company’s employees, working in partnership with Guinness World Records (GWR), through its new Employee Engagement solution, decided to try for a ‘World Record’.

The plan was to knock down – in domino style, thousands of books to get the record for ‘Most books toppled, in domino fashion’.

5,318 books were used, with all the books being the 2015 edition of the Guinness World Records, the first time the books had ever been used for a World Record.

Lining the books up so that they spelt ‘UBelieve’ The toppling began and lasted 2 minutes 27 seconds.

**Updated Fact – on 14th October 2015 this record was broken by Sinners Domino Entertainment (Germany) during the Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, where the company toppled 10,200 books – This time it was 2016 edition of the Guinness World Records
