It’s no secret to anybody that children really like to play with toys. They could spend days playing from morning till night. Sometimes kids’ rooms are full of different toys. You can find them all over the place: on shelves, under the bed – they are everywhere. In fact, this is one of the most common problems for parents. And children do not like to tidy up their toys.
Our main character is no exception. In this story you will find out what happens to Jeremy and his toys, and why he could not fall asleep. This magical story will teach children to love and take care of their toys, and will quickly become a favorite bedtime story for your child.
Jeremy loved to play with his toys, which he had a lot of. He liked to play in his bedroom with them, making tall towers out of his building blocks, or driving his train on his wooden track. Jeremy just loved to play.
His mum reminded him, that each night before he went to bed, he was to put all of his toys away. Jeremy promised that he would.
One night, Jeremy forgot to put his toys away. He tossed and turned but he couldn’t get to sleep. He had broken his promise to his mum.
Goodnight, Jeremy is a short young children’s book with a message about responsibility, and keeping a promise running through it. Young Jeremy is a very sweet, good little boy, who is just adorable.
The illustrations are divine. They are full page, bright, and colourful. They really capture the eye and make the book appealing.
Goodnight, Jeremy would work well as a bedtime story, or a class read. It is very imaginatively written, especially when Jeremy is trying to get to sleep. A book that can be read over, and over again.
