Review by Stacey
Both Mouse and Dinosaur are heading to school for the first time. They are both nervous and don’t want to go.
Will it be scary? Will they make friends? They have lots of worries. But they soon learn they are not alone and school isn’t as bad as they thought it would be.
I Don’t Want to go to School! is a young children’s picture book that would be perfect for little ones who are starting school soon.
The illustrations are bright, colourful, and full-page. The text is kept to a minimum and Mouse’s words are repeated throughout by Dinosaur which will help readers who are learning to read.
It is a short book that will only take a few minutes to get through but hopefully will put little ones at ease about starting school.
