Little Bear has a favorite chair, and he doesn’t want anyone else to sit on it. When his stubbornness gets in the way of his friendships, Little Bear has to decide what’s more important to him.

A short story that teaches the value of friendship, and the importance of sharing.

New one review witch 2017

Little Bear had a favourite chair. He liked to sit in his chair when he needed to relax. He also didn’t like other animals sitting in his chair in case any of them broke it.

One day his friend Lion had sore feet and sat in his chair, this made Bear angry and he shouted at his friend. But the other animals weren’t happy with Bear for the way he treated Lion and decided to stay away from him.

Bear needed to learn which he wanted more, his chair or his friends.

This is a sweet small children’s book with just 12 pages. The book is all about teaching children to learn to share and the consequences of not sharing.

To be honest I could see where Bear was coming from. Not wanting to share in case one of the other animals broke what was his. I’m a bit like that now with my stuff – but then it is only items that I can’t easily afford to replace that no-one else is allowed to use.

The book is beautifully illustrated and the facial feature of the animals really represent how they feel and make the story come alive.
