Review by Stacey
Sleepy Rabbity – The stars are out, the moon is bright, it’s time for Rabbity to say goodnight but Rabbity is trying all the tricks in the book that little ones do to stay up past their bedtime.
This very cute children’s picture book will be familiar to many parents and guardians across the world who have encountered the ‘my belly hurts’, ‘I need a wee’, ‘I forgot to tell you something’, excuses that children make as they get into bed in an effort to stay out of it for a few minutes more.
Through delightful rhyming verses and featuring repetitive sections on each page the story will help new readers to memorise certain words. The illustrations are full-page, beautiful, and quite dark, well it is a book set at night time, but not so dark you can’t see the picture or the words.
Overall, Sleepy Rabbity is a fabulous bedtime story. It is a quick, calming, and loveable read and one I adored.
