Review by Stacey
If you are in trouble who do you call? – The A-Team, Superman, Batman? – No you call Superhero Baby!
From waking up to going to sleep Superhero Baby is on call to save people, animals, and mend leaking pipes. When she is not working she is a normal baby that needs things doing for her, like her nappy changing. She also has a twin brother but could there be more to him than just your normal, average baby?
Superhero Baby! is a fun, energetic, and amusing rhyming story about an unusual caped crusader. Move over Avengers, Superhero Baby has got this! I loved the plot. It gave me a giggle and the full-page, bright, and colourful comic book style illustrations added to the humour and enjoyment.
The text is larger than average and kept to a minimum, plus it rhymed perfectly. This is a great combination, especially for new readers. This is a book that I can see children laughing out loud at and reading over and over again. I can also hear them yelling – Go Go Baby Power! at every opportunity.
