Review by Stacey
The Trap by Ava Glass is the third book in the ‘Alias Emma series. I reviewed book two The Traitor last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This time British Spy/Investigator Emma Makepeace is trying to flush out a killer who is about to assassinate a high-profile figure attending the G7 summit in Edinburgh by using herself as bait.
The action starts on the very first page and continues throughout. Emma is a feisty, strong-willed, intelligent woman who doesn’t like to lose and is not about to let someone commit an assassination, not on her watch.
Packed with real-life scenarios, politics, and thrilling moments, The Trap will have you on the edge of your seat. If you haven’t read the others in the series, don’t worry as this book works perfectly well as a standalone.
Overall, high octane and kick-ass are on the menu in this superb plot and if you like your thrillers with a capable, believable woman leading the charge then this is the book/series to pick up.
