Review 2020 red

We’re Going on a Treasure Hunt is a fun, adventurous, lift the flaps book for young children following a group of four pirate bunnies looking for ten gold coins.

Along their journey, they come across naughty monkeys, a great big shark, and Flying parrots amongst many more animals. They have to work together and be vigilant if they are to find all their treasure.

The book is very cute and repetitive which is good for children just learning to read as it helps them to remember the words. It has some amazing illustrations which show exactly what the storyline is about. They also have a lot going on in them so children will have lots to look at. Plus, what child doesn’t like to have flaps to lift, especially ones that contain hidden treasure.

I can see this being a book that children ask to be read to them over and over again. It would be the perfect book for helping children learn to read as well as a bedtime story or class read.
